ASO Engine is a Mac app for researching App Store keywords, competing apps, and keyword rankings.
Who is it for?
ASO Engine is built for independent app developers and teams deciding which App Store search terms to investigate. It helps you compare relevant keywords, inspect the apps appearing for those searches, and follow your app's observed position by country.
What can it show?
The Mac app combines public App Store listing information and search results with ASO Engine's own research estimates. You can look up public apps without signing in to an App Store account. Keyword popularity, difficulty, download, and revenue figures are estimates—not official Apple Search Ads volume, verified installs, or audited sales.
Rankings are snapshots of returned search results for a keyword and country. They can change over time and may differ from what a particular person sees on their device. Read how to interpret the data →
Platform and current access
The current release is ASO Engine 1.0.1 for macOS 15 or later. It is available as an Apple-notarized Mac download. No account or checkout is required for this release; if paid features are introduced later, their terms will be shown before anyone is charged.
