Troubleshooting
Resolve pending keyword results, credential problems, translation failures, read-only versions, and publishing errors.

Keywords stay pending or apps do not load
- Check your connection, selected storefront, tracked app, and the exact error shown.
- A queue or temporary research limit can delay results. Respect the displayed retry time; an empty metric is not a zero.
- Use Retry for the affected row when available. Try another relevant term to distinguish a term-specific result from a wider problem.
- If the problem persists, send the app version, keyword, country, and time of the attempt to support. Redact private data.
App Store Connect credentials fail
- Use a team API key with an Issuer ID, not an individual key.
- Make sure the Issuer ID, Key ID, and .p8 file belong together and the key is still active.
- Check the App Manager role and whether the correct team owns the app.
- Open Credentials again and reconnect after correcting a value. Never email your private key or password.
Test & Save or translation fails
- A failed Test & Save does not save the changed configuration. Check the key and model in Settings → AI Model.
- An authentication error can mean the key is invalid or revoked. A quota or billing error requires checking your OpenAI API account.
- A model may pass an access check but still not support the structured output needed for translation.
- For rate limits or incomplete output, wait, try fewer languages, and retry only the failed languages when offered.
Metadata is read-only
The selected version is not editable in the current workflow. Inspect its status in the version menu. Create a new version from that menu when available, or manage the submission in App Store Connect and refresh afterward.
Do not discard an Apple submission just to troubleshoot without first understanding the effect on your release. Confirm the platform and version before updating metadata.
An update or save partly fails
Read the per-language or per-territory results. Check permissions, field limits, version state, product settings, and any message returned by App Store Connect.
Successful items may already have changed even if another item failed. Verify the current values or schedule in App Store Connect before retrying.
Updates and support
Open Settings → General → Check Now to check for an update. Automatic update checks can be enabled there as well.
For help, include the app version, macOS version, tool, storefront or platform, and steps to reproduce. Attach a redacted screenshot if useful. Never include OpenAI keys, .p8 files, or Apple Account passwords.
Still need a hand? Contact support. Never include API keys or private-key files.
